"A portrait of Atticus, once a week, every week, in 2013."

Atticus is lucky enough to spend 2 mornings a week with his grandma, while mama goes in to the studio for uninterrupted yoga practice. As soon as I pack him up in the morning, and say "Let's go visit Nadia today", he starts running around the house collecting cars and books to take with him, muttering "Show me Nadia car, Show me Nadia book"(meaning "show Nadia car, book etc").
He always has a big cheeky grin for her as she walks out to greet us and they stand in the driveway and wave goodbye to me as I drive off. They walk to the park, chase each other crazily around the house and, when Atti has his way, go on the occasional sushi drive. They have a secret language of their own and a special bond which is so beneficial not only for Atti but me as well!

Yes, we have a lot of babyccinos. When we sit down at a cafe, Atti starts making eyes at the waiter | waitress and yelling "baby cheena, baby cheena!". But it's not so much the babyccino he is after as much as the marshmallow that comes on the side. "Oh my goodness, marshmallow!" he cries out when he gets one and gets so dissapointed when he doesn't. He will keep looking around the plate, behind the cup incase it is hiding behind.

"A portrait of Atticus, once a week, every week, in 2013."

This week almost got away from me....but here we are...mucking around in bed. Chatting, singing and tickling each other away.
Atticus now knows all the words to "twinke twinkle little star", which he will randomly sing at any given moment and I've finally deciphered one of his phrases, which he's been saying for weeks much to my confusion ( and it goes something like "aw domink ha farm") actually means 'Old Macdonald had a farm'!

"A portrait of Atticus, once a week, every week, in 2013."

Running. Always running. He won't sit in the pram for longer than 10 minutes and isn't even that happy in the Ergo these days. He's always on the move, running, jumping, digging, exploring.

This week we explored the Melbourne Museum and played around in the autumn leaves of the Carlton Gardens.

I loved Tahnee's protraits  last week and  as always, joining in with Che and Fidel.
