"A portrait of Atticus, once a week, every week, in 2013."

Today is winter solstice, and it is bitterly cold.
Despite the cold the day was stunningly crisp and the sun shone for most of it, teasing us all. Atticus and I ventured to the beach to watch the sun go down and look at the fiery sky. He methodically threw the cold, wet sand into the bay and ultimately yelled with surprise when the icy water washed up onto his legs and feet.

I loved this gorgeous shot of Eleanor splashing in the pool last week. Makes me long for sun and heat.

    1. Hi Tahnee! You found me! I have been a bit sneaky with this one...haven't really shared on IG, partly because I feel like I'm still figuring it all out... slowly slowly...I figured out the soft light situation in photoshop but now trying to switch over to lightroom has thrown a spanner in the works. So I edit the images in lightroom and then take them into photoshop, but I think i'm slowly figuring it all out...way too time consuming otherwise.
