We spent countless mornings drinking coffee at The Sisters and devouring their perfectly cooked eggs. Atti kept himself busy practicing his art skills on their giant chalkboard, drinking babychinos, mushing vegemite sandwiches and nibbling on the giant chalk!

Christmas in Blairgowrie | Part 2
Beach walks with Atti on my back are becoming a little more difficult as he gets longer and heavier (although I really don't know how he's putting any weight on considering he hardly eats anything). He loves the seaside though, collecting rocks, shells, eating sand and picking flowers.
He's also become a bit of a Maugli, always hanging out with the dogs, sharing his food with them, trying to steal their food and drink water from their bowl. We would constantly find him sitting with the dogs, singing them songs and telling him stories in his own language. Although Harry stays as far away from him as he can, Spencer is surprisingly tollerant; letting Atti pull his hair, pinch him, stick tiny fingers into his nose and chase him. He doesn't complain, just happy to have someone to play with. They have a month between them in age, and maybe they have a special relationship. They play wrestle; Spencer nibbles on Atti's hands and Atti squeals with laughter, trying to bite him back.
Christmas in Blairgowrie | Part 1
We spent the last weeks of 2012 with my family at Blairgowrie, celebrating mum's birthday, enjoying the great outdoors and eating way too much good food!
Atti loved being outdoors all the time and having so many people to play with all the time! He's started to put words together to form mini sentences and has become quite strong willed about getting his own way. He would constantly be grabbing someone's hand, pulling them towards the door, demanding "side, side side" (outside). "bye bye mama, cya" "bye bye nina" "go away penser" (spencer), "no no no"

atti speak
My current favourite Atti word is FWAWA! I point to plants and flowers as we walk along and say "What's this?" "FAWA" he yells, "FWAWA!" "Smell the flowers" I say, he opens his mouth wide to bite and says "ah ah"

fireworks
We arrived at this year's Christmas Fireworks with a tired baby strapped cozily into his ergo...anticipating that he will doze off to sleep quietly while we enjoy the fireworks. Boy were we wrong! Atti took a while to warm up to the crowd and the sound of the carols, but once he got going he was unstoppable. Playing in the dirt, flirting with strangers, hijacking my awesome potato on a stick. The excitement stepped up a notch with the arrival of Alik, Ninna and Dee Dee, and we soon realised how delusional our idea of a calmly dozing baby was. When the fireworks started to burst in the sky, I was worried that Atti would be frightened by the loud noise, but he calmly looked into the sky, pointed his finger and said "Star!""ooo wow! Stars! Stars!" He sat in my lap through the whole show...mesmerised. On the way to the car, he dozed off in his ergo after a big big night out and was walked home in the babywearing cuddles of "dada".
